there was a little girl from Ohio.
She was an only child, and had three beautiful older sisters.

Her mother
and father

loved her very much, and so they sent her away to University in Indiana,
which is where she met her sisters

who were in England at the time.
And the little girl from Michigan was happy, but her days were filled with sadness.
For soon after they returned from England, two of her sisters left the house.
One to begin a quest and the other to end one.
And she was happy that they were happy, but she was sad that they were with her no more.
And when her oldest sister finally left and got married she rejoiced,
for she loved her new brother, but she was now fully alone.
And then he came.
Tall and brown, he rode down from the North and captured her heart with his strange ways.
And she marveled after this stranger for many months until suddenly the winds changed and he left her. And she was alone again.

Or so she thought.
For when the northerner had first reached the destined kingdom of Indiana, he met with a healer from the far southern borders

who was questing for knowledge. For a short time they sojourned together, the Northern prince and the Southern healer.

And when the northerner left the girl, she found herself alone with the healer who had stayed behind.
And he healed her.
And in time, she came to love him and he soon, in turn, proposed.
And so from all corners of the world there was rejoicing.

For the little girl from Missouri agreed to marry the healer.
And preparations began for a wedding that would suit all the families. Which was, it was soon revealed, an arduous task in and of itself.
The mother of the little girl was from the north

and wanted a wall.
The mother of the healer

was from the south and wanted china.
And so the three sisters were called forth from the Four Corners of the world to gather and set things right

and to ensure that the lives of all involved would endure.
For the oldest

was with child and could soothe angry feelings with a groan.
And the second oldest was a writer

and knew stories.
And the third oldest knew games.
And they all knew when it was time to drag the little girl into a corner and sit on her. | |
And despite all of the preparations

the rehearsals

the dinners

and the dancing

the healer and the little girl were married.

And after their youngest sister was finally wed, the sisters wept and once again separated.
