"Let's go shopping for costumes, then." She puts down her book and grabs her keys from the counter. She turns to see Blobbin blinking but otherwise not moving. "What now?" she asks.

Blobbin shakes her head and unties the rug from her neck. "You actually are willing to go shopping? And with *me*?"

Fatgirl watches the cat struggle from under the dropped rug and raises an eyebrow. "You were just wearing a pink rug. Like I'm gonna let you go shopping on your own?" As they get into the car, a thought strikes her. "By the way, how did you get the rug to fly out behind you like that? Is that one of your new powers?"

"No," Blobbin reaches for her seatbelt. "I used all your wire hangers as a frame."
